Competing Deity

I live in the American South, aka "The Bible Belt". The people here love their churches & they seem to love making up names for them even more. I saw a flyer yesterday for "The Church of the Holy Comforter". I couldn't help but laugh. Do they have to carry knitting needles with them at all times? If they were to get a pasta stain on their comforter, would that signal, the end is near???
