Not into metal, but Scurvy sounds way cooler than Anthrax for a band named after a disease.

I've noticed ye haven't noticed what I wanted ye all to notice...

If any of ye fellow salty seadogs favour the sweet gently sounds of metal I urge you to raid Amazon.co.uk or Play.com and have off with 'Captain Morgan's Revenge' by the drunken scoundrels of Alestorm. Formally they be known as Battleheart and it is truly a collection of piracy fit for the great Noodle himself. :fsm_yarr:

I raise me jar of mead to ye...

Man Scurvy are one of the most amazing bands I've heard in ages, and I live so close to them!

Definitely seeing them at a show soon, just bought their EP, and a sticker =)

Thanks for starting this post man may his noodlyness be upon you always.

Someone needs to remix "Hallow Be Thy Name" by iron maiden into a pastaferrian song. Spaghedeity would be greatly honnored by such an awsome inclusion into our religous hymns. :violin:

:fsm_rock: I recently heard of SwashBuckle & a few other bands of Pirate Metal that people had suggested listening to in their comments on youtube. I really like this band, but AleStorm will always be 1 of my favorites.

Swashbuckle can be fun, but I really am just turned off by most of their vocals. Their instrumental tracks are good background music, though.

Someone recently pointed me to this metal cover of the Monkey Island theme. Very Caribbean style music.
