Most of the posters on this forum don't know that Belgium college student clubs have a very old beer tradition called CANTUS. The cantus is an ode to the most glorious drink in the world: beer. Here's some information about the practise: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cantus
Each cantus opens with a special tribute song to beer in Latin. Everyone stands up and puts their right hand on their heart and starts to sing.
I believe this tradition of the cantus is originated from our holyness, the FSM. As a former member of a Belgian student club, I just had to put the lyrics to this holy tribute to beer on this forum:
o vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Hoc est amoris poculum!
Doloris est antidotum!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Dum nihil est in poculo,
Iam repleatur denuo!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Nos jungit amicitia,
Et vinum praebet gaudia!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Est vita nostra brevior,
Et mors amara longior!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Osores nostri pereant!
Amici semper floreant!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
Jam tota Academia
Nobiscum amet gaudia!
Io vivat! Io vivat!
Nostrorum sanitas!
