Has anyone other than me watched The Crawling Eye (1958) and thought it was some anti-FSM propaganda.

Such thinnly veiled references to his noodly appendages....

My son says this is the protoform of FSM, as he tried to coalesce into something our little human brains could handle.

I know the Mystery Science Theater 3000 used it in an episode, but I don't think I've seen it. (I did see the Crawling Hand, but that's a whole other story...)
