Not sure if you get them in the States - here in the UK we have potato waffles. Yum yum yum yum. Especially yum with a fried egg with a yolk you can dunk into.
Although for sweet, pancakes win every time.

waffles (any kine, but maybe not moose-poo/treacle) are dope..also phat..also heart-attack-inducing sugary, fatty, crunchy goodness..(only pancakes that come close are banana 'cakes with coconut syrup..)*
