MST3K FTW!

They are producing new episodes (under a different name) that are going straight to DVD.

Thought of another few shows. Fire 000. A reality show about firemen. Bondi Rescue. Practically the same thing, but with lifesavers.

Elastoman wrote:Seriously, DTH. There's a helluva lot more going on that just a murder mystery. And it's David Lynch. David "crazier-than-you" Lynch. I know it's a little dated at this point, but try it again. Seriously. Watch more than two episodes, and remember that it's David Lynch writing a parody of a soap opera.

Seriously, the show changes from complete melodrama to almost maniacal humour so fast that it leaves you thinking; "Dude, are they being serious? This is retarded! WTF?!" Also, have you listened to the music in the background? It's awful, and it drills into you brain like a, well, a drill!

At the risk of repeating myself....David Lynch. If you liked his movies, then give it a shot. If not, well, don't. If nothing else, watch it for Agent Cooper. He's awesome.

Agent Cooper is weird. Looks like the perfect stereotype of an FBI agent.

So You Think You Can Dance? Is one I hate. Actually, I'm just going to group it under "reality TV". Yes, reality TV has no redeeming features. None.

Oh, and Everybody Loves Raymond. Real families behave nothing like that. (To the extent of my knowledge.)

I agree. Actually, I don't like soap operas at all.

Also...

The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, Survivor, and just any reality show that makes the people on them think they're A-List celebrities.

Robert is the only good thing in that show.

I'm with you there! Do you get them badly dubbed too? (subtitles might be livable with but badly dubbed... *miming pointing gun at head*) Thank God I only have to see them when I go home

Never seen it but I like dancing. However, all reality shows YES!!! ESPECIALLY Big friggin Brother! I met a guy who claimed he was part of the idea think tank that came up with it. If I can remember his name we could persecute him for the rest of his life in revenge? Whaddya think guys? :D

The only reality show I approve of is The Biggest Loser. Everyone wins and the people are better off each week instead of screwed over in some way.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

They didn't have to put it on television. It's just an excuse to get money. Everyone who participates as a contestant in that show benefit hugely, for sure, but that's merely a side-effect. Do you really think TV executives care about overweight people? Half the time they're telling them to gain weight, for FSM's sake! (Advertising)

I never implied they cared. You can do good without caring, and the show helps motivate people at home to get healthier (don't hate, LLR)

Your avatar would not approve of these sentiments, Rain.
I hope you're on the recieving end of an improbability equation wherein something happens to you that's as unlikely as Rob Schneider winning a best actor Oscar on the same day Michael Jackson single handedly captures Osama Bin Laden. ~ Rainswept

I don't find it to be so. My schadenfreude switch must be malfunctioning.
