I heard a story that there was once a contest for the worst band name, and it was won by:
TONTO's Expanding Head Band
A guy I know heads a band named for Wilt Chamberlain's claim he slept with 20,000 women:
The Chamberlain Kids
And I can't believe no one has suggested it, but if I had a heavy metal band I'd call them:
The Flying Spaghetti Monsters

There was The Flying Burrito Brothers but they were certainly not Heavy Metal...so I think you could be on to something there.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.
