Show your Desktop

Postby Rainswept » Sun May 29, 2011 12:31 pm

I was looking at my desktop background pic and thought it would be fun if we all posted ours to share. I'll go 1st.

This is the one of Milo that Bart did for me for co-winning the pirate quiz. It's been my desktop ever since.

Very good taste David. It's about time we had another quiz.

Look at the many icons and dispair. A small window into years of geekhood.

I didn't show my icons in my pic, but the only icon on my desktop is the recycle bin, lol. I keep mine tidy.

Wasn't this done once before? I am pretty sure it was. My desktop has a computer on it, a mouse pad, various pieces of paper and a pencil holder and some cat hair. Do you really want a pix of that?

I can't see julius's pic without going in and finding the link to open it in a new window.

I get nothing but "Image" for Ubi's, even in Rain's quoting of it; copying the link to a new window just results in error messages and then a blank Yahoo page pops up.

Julius' leads to a page full of desktop images.

When you opened up Julius' in a new window, like I just did, the computer or browser then realizes what the picture is, and that's why it now loads it fine in the picture. Not sure exactly how that works, but yeah. Here's the link, I wonder if it has the same problem with the [url] tags?

My desktop is just the default black background for Windows 7. Call me lazy or boring, but I think it's shiny.
