Is there some rule that we all have/had to live under flight paths?

Nope. However, I live between 3 military firing ranges and a high security mental hospital for the criminally insane so I have enough noise pollution without planes :idiot:

At least that f*****g Concord has gone.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

I used to live under the runway extension (less than 3 miles out) for Logan Airport. I swear we had tire marks on the roof. Every 45 seconds, all bloody day.... :furious:

("Against stupidity, the gods themselves contend in vain.")

Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.

OK, now let's look at four dimensions on the blackboard.

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

I love those wacky New Zealanders!

I'm in Cambridgeshire. Since everyone looks blank and rapidly changes the subject if I even mention pastafarianism or an aerial carbohydrate entity, my suspicion is that I'm a member of a minority demographic in these parts. Which, as a lower middle-class white male, feels like a refreshing change.
