I too am a (suburbian) Chi-town resident. And I've been wondering if there's any three masted schooners down at Navy Pier. Be a nice place to have a FSM service, wouldn't it?

All we'd need then is a Jolly Roger and a couple dozen parots.

I'm a psuedo exiled Chicagoan...currently stuck in Indianapolis, which is quite possibly one of the most hostile-to-Pastafarianism areas in the US. I've tried many times to spread the word here, especially when the legislation tried to pass a bill mentioning Jesus prayer before all house meetings (shouldn't they be fair and mention FSM too?). But, yeah, they don't really like FSM down here..All the more reason for defiance!

the Field Museum is opening a grand exhibit on evil-lution this weekend. I heard a rumor that the IDiots are planning a protest. I'm going to go look for a confirming link right now and I'll be back to edit this post when I find one.

But why is all the rum gone?

For the Flying Spaghetti Monster so loved the world, that he sent pasta with meat and marinara sauce to be eaten, so man would not perish but would be completely nourished and live.
