Under NO circumstances is it acceptable to use the pm system to spam or harass other board members. If you think someone might be interested in a link or piece of information, then it is acceptable to send them that. However, the following things are NOT permissible:
1. Disseminating one link or meme to numerous members at a time.
2. Repeatedly contacting one or more members despite having received no response, or a discouragement.
3. Using the pm system to disseminate material that would be inappropriate on the main boards. This includes content of a sexual or violent nature, hate speech, copyrighted material, or any form of self-promotion.
Violation of this rule is a banable offense. At best you can expect ONE warning, after that you will be permanently banned from this community, no exceptions. Consider this your only warning, and remember that ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
If anyone is being harassed in this way, please report it to an administrator immediately.
