(Double post to let people know there's new info in here...)
Hey, all.
Just a reminder: we're in the long stretch between the Easter and Thanksgiving holidays. This is normally the "lean time" for food banks.
But, with our help, it doesn't have to be this way. Remember that for we Pastafarians, every Friday is a holiday! What better way to celebrate it than to share the Holy Meal with the less fortunate?
Imagine the impact if each of us gave just one packet of spaghetti or one small jar of sauce every Friday:
- A 1 lb packet of spaghetti is 450 noodles
- Giving one per week for a year would add up to 23 400 noodles
- If 42 people did this, we'd be at Doc's goal of 1 000 000 noodles within a year.
So take up the challenge, and remember that one of the virtues of Pastafarianism is that you're never more than a week away from a Holy Day: it's ALWAYS holiday season!
So go out, get some pasta and find your local food bank!
Now Hypercaffeinated! Share and Enjoy!
