Noodley in the UK

Postby amenabletopasta on Tue Sep 13, 2005 4:07 pm

Avast! Thar be an increasin' amount o' pirates sailin' the waters o' the United Kingdom, so Oi thought we should be attemptin' to get ourselves ship shape and Bristol fashion. On these shores, we've got a slightly different "foe" to that faced by our ship-mates in Kansas, in the shape o' "faith schools" run by scurvy second-hand car-dealing evangelists, and if we get organised we'll 'ave a base to build on.

Oi reckons the first step be to work out who's from the UK, and take it from there. Oi've spotted a couple o' "I'm from the UK" threads ('ere and

Republic of Ireland
Irish Noodle

Oi thought Oi'd better list people in their individual countries in case there's a desire to 'ave separate FSM chapters (Oi listed the nations in order o' the quality of the national side's recent football performances  . Us English be cricket-mad now anyway...)

Please post a reply if ye'd like to be added to/removed from the list, if ye'd like an ammendment to be made, or if ye've got any comments/suggestions. Oi'm not sure that this list thing is a good idea, so let me know what ye think... :fsm_worried:

Avast there Amenabletopasta

I'm glad to see I'm already included on the list.

Maybe we should arrange a meet up and meal for local areas (me current level of swag won't allow for a central meet llike London) ... you know whip the media interest up etc....

They be treacherous waters. The land has peaks and troughs like a force 9, and the god-squad be a hiding and looking out for young lads and lasses to ply with coffee and biscuits. Sleep with your cutlass by your side, and try not to roll over while dreaming of gold and spaghetti.

If you re-define it as being a British Isles thing, you could include the Republic fo Ireland and I could join...

I'm sure Auntie will sign you up if she's not busy holding the roof on (she's in Texas). In Amenable's absence (out marauding) only admins have the power to edit the great list of the brethren.
Let us know if spot any strange ideas coming in from the Atlantic; you're in our front line.

It would appear that I too live in the area of what is
laughably known as the 'United Kingdom'.
