Lusófonos - Louvemos ao FSM!!!

Postby Donatello van Dijck on Sat Jul 26, 2008 9:11 am

Brazillian Portuguese is a crime against the Portuguese language.

Are you from Manoel & Joaquim Land (sometimes called Portugal)? :D

Well, our tupiniquim Portuguese has much more idioms, much more words to express much more natural beauties and happyness. Brasil rules, Portugal smears. :fsm_rock:

Ps.:
I'm playing a joke, in true I not even like my country. I prefer any European country... 8) But, if you speak portuguese, why did you write in English?

I don't speak Portuguese. I have a rudimetary understanding of it. However, I think that Brazillian Portuguese is somewhat besmirching of the original.

Or maybe I read too much Coelho.

Puta que pariu, Caralhooooooo, Vá se fuder!!! :? :x
(I hope you do not understand portuguese insulting words :D )

If I had Paulo Coelho as reference I should hate brazilian portuguese too. I detest Paulo Coelho... and so do nine in ten learned brazilians. Paulo Coelho is seen here as a Jim Jones... a quack of literature (if we can name that shits as literature).

Brazilian writers who I advise: Clarice Lispector (modern - tales), Carlos Drummond de Andrade (modern - poetries and tales), Rubem Fonseca (contemporary - tales) , Machado de Assis (realistic - romances and tales), Ferreira Gullar (modern/ contemporary - poetries ) .

There are good composers too... I advise Chico Buarque (samba) and Cazuza (rock)... maybe easyer for a no portuguese speaker.

From our old metropolis there are a great writer: José Saramago, Nobel awarded, who is a enthusiastic atheist... beyond a excelent romancist and tale writer.

-chorar-

Coelho used to fascinate me as a young man, but when I read him in Portuguese, I vomit.
