Since there will be a beer volcano in heaven, we should meet somewhere that serves beer. Maybe a nice micro...it will be like meeting in heaven without the strippers.

I don't suppose there is an Olive Garden in San Francisco since that is the holy tabernacle of our noodly master. I guess somewhere in North Beach is the next closest place. Lot's of pasta there.

Here comes a vote from Oakland...

Postby medussa on Tue Nov 15, 2005 2:39 pm

Here's another Pastfarian, just joined from Oakland....

Getting together sounds great, how about something where parking isn't a huge issue (that leaves North Beach out, I'm afraid).

If people can handle crossing bridges (such an issue for BayAreans), there's always Pyramid Brewery in Berkely, just off 580 Gilman Street exit.
Good food, good parking, good highway access...

You don't need a passprt to go to the East Bay, you know...

Any other suggestions?

Old Shasta, CA.....REAL Northern California. Oakland is the best Bay Area town, then Berkeley.

San Francisco has gotten to crazy.

I love Pyramid. That would be my choice, and you don't have to be 21 to hang out just in case there are some little Pastafarians. I could even meet during the week after work some day. I'll wear an eye patch so you recognize me.

I would love to meet you guys in person...

I work a difficult schedule, as I work 24 hour shifts on a very complex schedule...

I would vote against a Tuesday or Thursday, those nights are the most difficult for me to get off.
Otherwise, as long as I have enough lead time, I can get almost any shift off (except the actual holidays, of course, those are impossible to get out of work, or rather the going price for a shift trade is outside of my budget).

Aaaaarrrrrrrhhhhh

SF here. I work in the East Bay though.

I can't believe how huge the following is becoming. When I first discovered His Noodly Goodness, there was little more than the letter and some e-mail responses on the site, and now... Wow!

Yar. I, too, live in Northern California, but more northern than the rest of you. Placer County, that is, which is probably a good two or three hours away from the everyone else.
