Theatre

Hey all! Anyone into the old theatre going here?

I went to see the Rocky Horror Show on Friday for the first time, and it was bloody excellent! Great atmosphere, and Ainsley Harriot was the narrator

A little while before I went to see First Person Singular which was very clever and well acted.

I'm jealous now. Always wanted to go see Rocky Horror on stage, but never got around to it. Hopefully I will do before long. I saw Mama Mia and Our House several years ago.

I made a promise to myself last year to go to the theatre more. I went to see Waiting for Godot with Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart at The Theatre Royal Haymarket last year. It was amazing. They both camped it up a bit for the play, which really added something different to it. Wanted to go see Cat on a Hot Tin Roof as well this year, it has James Earl Jones :haha:, but lack of income forbade me from doing so.

Last thing I saw at the theatre was Madame Butterfly at the NYC Opera. Before that was Spamalot on Broadway.

They did try it at The Old Vic, but realised they needed a bigger stage...
