Noodles are noodles are noodles. Just because they're not skinny does not make them any less holy.

(Trying to promote sectarian strife and religious war by making up own unsubstantiated theology, just like the christians do.)

HE is the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Not the Flying Lasagne Monster or the Flying any old pasta Monster.
If you are worshipping this lasagne, you are a heretic and should burn. If you are just eating it, it's OK as long as you truly believe in your heart that it's not as good as Spaghetti.

My position is usually sitting in front of a big plate of it getting ready to chow down.
(I think Lasagne beats Spaghetti any day)

Ok so I am confused some of the more fundamentalist leaning adherents appear to feel pasta is pasta, where as some more diverse proponents think that it is heretical? Is there a clear doctrine on lasagne and are their differing sects with differing ecumenical principles?

By the way dinner was lovely, I want to be a good pirate though so I need guidance.

Keep in mind, moreso than whether any particular dinner food is holy or not, we have the Flimsy Standards guideline. Which is basically the FSM's way of saying "Yo, I'm chill with it."

Do what you yourself think is best, most holy, or most entertaining. Chances are, the FSM won't mind. He's probably the one responsible for your opinions one way or the other, so how could you possibly be wrong?

Given the central tenet of lax moral standards, and the 8 WRRYDs talk about tolerance, I think lasagne is fine.

I favour sausage lasagne although I had a fab sweet apple one the other week.

Hmm sounds like a plan.

And good point.

Sounds lovely. A nice variation on a theme is chilli lasagne too, you can even put kidney beans in if you want. Svery nice and you can have it as hot as you like.

thanks people I was wary about using the internet for a crisis of faith, but it seems your guidance has eased my qualms. :)

Theologically, lasagne is fine with me. Gastronomically too.

I like it on a plate although bowls work well too. Preferably on a table.

The carpet is right out.

So you're not a carpet muncher, DB?

(Sorry Ahar - think I may just have killed your thread.)

Well, it managed 11 posts before it got silly and 12 before we killed it with toilet humour and sexual innuendo.

Better than these threads normally manage :haha:

I tried to make it silly in my post (no. 4) but, evidently, in these parts a horizontal position on lasagne is considered sensible..
