So, I was browsing the net, searching for an old ww2 era combat mmo (had like, mostly planes, you could fly bombers and have ppl crew em, hit me up if you remember this.. was from the late 90s) and started typing "flying" into Google. The Auto-fill put spaghetti monster; Spaghetti monster? That's vaguely familiar for some reason.. I'm game. **click**
Let me tell you, what I read was the most disturbing, strange, crazy, out-of-this world, psychotic and freaky (I could go on, but I won't) thing I have ever read; yet just after reading, another *click* happened. This one inside me. I dug a little further.. pirates and beer?!?! Really? That's whats here? <single tear rolls down cheek, quivering lips form a slow smirk... slowly changes to heartfelt smile>
I just found what I never knew I was looking for.
I know nothing of FSM other than what I saw in the first two minutes on the home page.. but I've already moved this bookmark above my widescreengaming, xda and HF forum links (is that ok to list? edit out if not, didn't see anything in the rules). I feel at home with strangers...
So I know nothing, (but I knew that already, wait.. is that a paradox?) but I'm ready to learn... so feel free to drop me line anytime, or just say hi when I post (and I will).
Oh, and this really cracked me up
There will be a kind of HellLight, where unbelievers have to live with school cafeteria spaghetti, second rate beer, and boring jobs in the service industries
I knew it! Life on Earth IS Hell! <glances at his Jewel brand pasta and glass of super foaming Miller High Life that were all he could afford with his crummy tips from the days work>
All joking and [poor] attempts at humor aside, I look forward to everything I can learn, experience and contribute here, and all the wonderful people I will meet.
Until nex [post] time...
Johnathan (aka Candytripn... Actually, its a surprisingly fairly unique tag.. use it to find me in Steam, BF3, forums all over and even in LFO forums (ex military so I get to register) bashing cops in Chicago ;p)
Thank FSM for a "preview" button, 5 times of checking to not sound like a complete moron.. well, not a complete
one anyway ;p
