A question of faith

Postby thelastpirate on Tue May 22, 2012 1:45 pm

I am having a crisis of faith.

Can you reconcile FSM beliefs with applying to join Her Majesty's Royal Navy? I'm worried since it has traditionally been such an anti-pirate organisation.

I am relying on lax moral standards here.

Her Imperial Majesty's Royal Navy once sanctioned the use of privateer vessels in the past, which were basically pirates sponsored by the Royal Navy to hamper enemy ships and steal their precious booty. Hopefully this information will help to assuage some of your feelings of doubt.

Also, a likely major focus of the Navy in the next few decades will be dealing with piracy along the African coast. Since they aren't really pirates (outboard motors and kalashnikovs are cheating) you can look at that as increasing the proportion of true pirates :idiot:
