Did you know that in January 1867, after thick ice on the lake in London's Regent's Park had started to thaw, several hundred skaters crashed through the ice and forty of them drowned?

The authorities decided to drain the lake and raise it's bed which explains why today the Regent's Park Boating Lake is only four foot deep.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

Did you know that an MTHFR mutation can lead to depression, neuropathy, and a multitude of other symptoms that can all be cured by taking a simple supplement of l-methyl-folate?

Did you know that the USA has been at war for 210 years of its existence!

However if you compare The Kingdom of Great Britain... Roughly over the same period (so we're forgetting pre UK stuff like The 100 years war etc)...it isn't possible to calculate...but Britain fought 230 wars during the reign of Queen Victoria alone!!!! We like a nice war.

Did You Know That: in Japan there are shops where teenage girls sell their smelly knickers, which are then displayed in vending machines for dirty old men. :fsm_rock:
